Water and Coaling cranes

Has anyone come across suitable models for water cranes and coaling cranes (I have in my mind the rail mounted steam cranes used at Daban but would welcome alternative suggestions)? Or am I back to scratch building territory?

Has anyone identified sources of suitable buildings? Trawling the web shows Auhagen and Artitec to have some example of European functional buildings which could conceivably appear in China. However, I've yet to find a suitable water tower and water crane. Neither European or American examples look ...

Given that my current layout is basically a small yard/station with no heavy haul requirement, my main concern is that the loco looks "right". Does the gap and the misplaced steps detract from the new version and the older one look better ... or do the other mods actually make it look better overall...

Am in the market for a DF4B but was disappointed about the short bogies on the new versions (which are the only ones to make it to the UK at present). Has anyone heard whether this is likely to be corrected in the near future or should I aim for an older version? ... maybe I should go for an ND2 ins...
