Hi,

The best is to build it yourself. I have taken photos with scale references to reproduce the buildings. The problem is the real buildings are too large to build to scale so I often have to reduce the size by 1/4 and some sheds by 3/4. I would have uploaded pictures but for some reason it is not accepting my photos. I have seen some buildings on layouts which looks proprietary produced. If you are uncomfortable scratch building, I would suggest looking at soviet/USSR and DDR type buildings and tweak them to suit. There is a USSR company that made buildings (I cannot recall the name of the manufacturer now) that can be built and put on the layout without any alterations, the problem is these are quite crude as they are USSR produced after all and need lots of work to make them look decent for a detailed H0 scale layout. I recently broke up my old layout and sent the buildings to a Chinese Railway modeller in Germany. They are too large for my new layout. Faller and Piko produce DDR flats which are quite similar to the older developments in China.

Jos

I never found any so resorted to scratch build. The beauty of china is almost anything goes and working from a photo will result in something that looks the part. My modelling skills aren't that great but I think I've caught the flavour 😉

Dear Jos

You may find on Aliexpress a plastic model of a typical countryside railway station.
It is a toy but it is actually at 1:87 scale and its dimensions are 4.56" x 2.17" x 1.81" or 11,6 x 5,5 x 4,6 cm.
Price is only 2,8 € + 0,5 € for shipping.

Search for MagiDeal HO Scale Building House Model.

As an alternative to building a typical Chinese countryside railway station by kitbashing 2 or even 3 of these cheap plastic toy models on sale on Aliexpress (my current project), a nice HO scale grade model kit of a large Chinese countryside railway station is available on Taobao

https://world.taobao.com/item/3174639126.htm

Purchasing from Taobao is therefore a difficult journey for westerners if you don't know a Chinese fellow who can play the role of a broker.
