Hallo

there are some cars from Herpa etc . You can convert them easy in chinese cars . Look at the militairy cars . In the 1980ties they had japanese touristbusses , so perhaps ? Also in this forum you can find some info of the cars . Just read the index .
See also chinesemodeltrains.com (model encyclopedia ) .
But there are not much to find .

regards Jos

Most of the trucks, busses and cars manufactured in China from the 50's to the 80's were licensed from Eastern Europe communist countries.
Thus, it is possible to reproduce typical Chinese vintage vehicles from HO scale models of Russian, Hungarian, Czech or East German vehicles (either built models or kits).

Namely,

Jiefang CA 10 <- ZIS-150/ZIS-151/ZIL151 ZZ Modell, MAC Distribution
Jiefang CA 30 <- ZIL-157 ZZ Modell
Jueczin 134 <- GAZ51 Miniatur Modelle
Dongfanghong BJ 212 <- UAZ-469 MAC Distribution, Trident
Beijing BJ 210 <- GAZ-69/UAZ-69 MAC Distribution
Dongfanghong BJ 760 <- Volga M21 Herpa
Beijing BJ 750 <- Toyota Crown ? Tomy
Hongqi CA 770 <- Brekina, Trumpeter
city bus produced from 70's to 90's <- Ikarus 260 Espewe (East Germany old production, common on eBay)
city bus produced from 50's to 70's <- Ikarus 31/311 Espewe (East Germany old production, common on eBay)
city bus produced from 50's to 60's <- Skoda 706 resin kit only
Dump truck <- Perlini Espewe (East Germany old production, common on eBay)

and possibly

KRAZ-255/257/258 <- SMK
LKW G5 <- Espewe (East Germany old production, common on eBay)

From the 90's, German and Japanese vehicles started to pervade the streets of all large Chinese cities so it is much easier to find HO scale models in the ranges of the usual German manufacturers.

I hope that this personal investigation I made to populate my own diorama with genuine Chinese vehicles will be helpful.
