Suggestion for a Chinese industrial passenger station

Post by TEAMYAKIMA » 11 Nov 2016, 21:12

Hello all

I have searched just about EVERY known (and some unknown!!) manufacturer for a suitable HO station for my Chinese industrial passenger service.

I'm looking for something basic, modern, plain, even ugly ..........

Any ideas?

The best scale models of typical Chinese railway structures are the modules built by Michael Ji, a talentuous Chinese modeller.

Here are some links to Michael Ji's modules reproducing typical passenger stations for industrial areas.

Do you have contact details for Michael Ji ? And do we know if he understands/writes English?

Thanks again - anyone got any other ideas?

Dear Petit Panda,

I am also interested in one or two of these stations and would like to get in touch with the manufacturer. Do you know whether these kits are resin cast or 3D printed?

Some of the 3D printed structures I have procured so far are very uneven and the printer lines are quite visible which were not so apparent from the pictures on the internet.

Regards

Dongfeng

Dear all,

The page of the shop of Michael Ji on Taobao is https://michael-ji.world.taobao.com/index.htm.
These hand-made models (resin ?, cardboard ?, plasticard ?) are branded from Yang Ming model which is the company distributing these models produced by Ji Michael studio in Shanghai.

I am not reading Chinese so I cannot tell if there is a contact email on the web page.

Alternatively, Michael Ji models are available on http://www.chinese-hifi.com with numerous good quality pictures.

Let me also share this link of a HO scale plastic model kit of a traditional countryside Chinese railway station
