Does anyone know or have any information about DXDC 5303, 5304 & 5305 Sound Decoders and if they can be reprogrammed, if so with what and where can we buy them! Charlie

I've not heard of the product numbers mentioned - are they new? The 5302 was much better than the 5301 (DF4B/11). Try www.anemodel.com - lots of information regarding on there including downloadable manuals.

5301 sound decoder and complete PCB are meant for DF4b. If you have the “last release”, the best decoder of DXDC (In my opinion). Nice DF4b sounds, good regulate speed and extra sounds. [Including brake sounds!]
5302 is meant for the QJ, DF7, DF3 and the new 5303 [almost the same as 5302] for the DF11.
In my opinion the QJ and DF3 is nice, DF7 reasonably but DF11 is badly.
Of course, all sounds, etc are fixed, only some CV’s you can change.
[Not like ESU, to program your own sound, etc], but of course the price is reasonable.
